An independent, non-profit organization dedicated to product testing and consumer advocacy has contracted with EurekaFacts, an independent research firm, to conduct one-on-one interviews about their Quarterly Questionnaire.

The goal of this study is to gain an objective evaluation of the Quarterly Questionnaire and how consumers like yourself interpret the different questions and materials related to the survey. Your participation in this study will help in the development of an improved Quarterly Questionnaire.

You will be assigned a research ID number and your responses will not be linked to your name. In this way, the information you provide will be anonymous.

If you qualify and complete the 60-minute interview session, you will receive a $75 gift card for your time and participation.

About the Study

What is the purpose of the study?
An independent, non-profit organization is interested in evaluating their Quarterly Questionnaire and how consumers like yourself interpret the different questions and materials related to the survey. Our goal is to make sure that these questions and materials are applicable to a wide variety of consumer circumstances and to make information clearer so that other consumers can easily understand and answer them.

What will happen during the research interview?
During the interview, participants will be asked by the interviewer to provide feedback on different survey questions as well as other related materials such as communication and screener information. The interviewer will ask participants about their interpretations and thoughts related to the questions being asked. All interviews will be audio and video recorded with permission given by the participant.

How long will the testing session last?
The interview session will last about 60 minutes.

What are the possible risks?
There are no risks associated with participating in this study beyond what is encountered in everyday life.

How did you get my contact information?
You and others like yourself have been selected as residents of the United States who have expressed interest in participating in a research study.

Will my information be kept confidential?
Yes. The information you provide will be used only for research purposes. You will be assigned a research ID number and your responses will not be linked to your name. This way, the information you provide will be anonymous.

What are the incentives for participating?
If you are eligible to participate in the interview session, you will receive a $75 gift card as a thank you for your time.

What is the duration of this study?
We will be conducting the one-on-one interview sessions between January 8, 2020 – January 18, 2020.

Where will the research interview take place?
Interviews will be conducted in-person at the EurekaFacts office at 51 Monroe Street, Plaza East 10, Rockville, MD 20850.

Can participation end early?
Participation in this study is completely voluntary. The participant has the right to refuse to answer particular questions. The participant may elect to withdraw from this study at any time and can leave the interview early if they wish.
