Director of Cognitive Research
Mila Sugovic, Ph.D. is the Director of Cognitive Research at EurekaFacts and is an expert in the field of perception and cognitive psychology. Her research and experience examines factors such as health, behavior, actionability, and perception. She has research specialization and expertise in perception and behavior among older adults and people who are obese, and in cognitive load and usability testing with children. She has developed and published innovative methods in cognitive testing, and leads the development of affective/emotional response research to support advertising and brand development.
Dr. Sugovic has conducted research with many different types of targeted populations including university students, teenagers, anorexia nervosa patients, and athletes. Her applied research utilizes both qualitative and quantitative research methods. Dr. Sugovic also brings experience leading her team in advanced statistical data analysis, psychometric analysis, and data collection. She has published academic work in a number of top psychology journals such as the Journal of Experimental Psychology, Psychological Bulletin & Review, and Perception.
Dr. Sugovic earned a bachelors degree in Psychology from Washington and Lee University and a doctorate degree in Cognitive Psychology from Purdue University.
