Margie Eulner Ott serves as director of field operations at EurekaFacts. She oversees recruitment and retention of qualified study participants while ensuring their experience with EurekaFacts is a positive one. Across the company she builds systems to ensure quality, accuracy and efficiency.
With more than 30 years of leadership experience directing recruitment, participant support, government compliance and systems design in the nonprofit sector, she has led the development of high performing staff teams and the systems to support them. Before joining the EurekaFacts team in 2023, Margie was a client and contracted with EurekaFacts to perform demographic and satisfaction studies for youth exchange programs. She has also partnered with EurekaFacts as a subject matter expert in the U.S. Department of State exchange visitor program. Margie has a strong background in the U.S. education system through her work as program director at the Center for Education Reform and in J-1 visa programs having served for many years as national director and responsible officer at Youth For Understanding International Exchange. Through her volunteer work, she has developed expertise in community approaches to healthy aging and reducing isolation.
Margie has a bachelor’s degree in biology and history from Georgetown University and her Nonprofit Management Executive Certificate from its McCourt School of Public Policy. She has served with distinction on the boards of the Council on Standards for International Educational Travel and Little Falls Village. In 2016, Margie crossed a major item off her bucket list – to be a contestant on Jeopardy! Not only did she win her game, she entered the annals of giant slayers by taking down a 12-time champion. In her free time, she enjoys travel and a good game of trivia.
