Carlos M. González has led various management initiatives in business process improvement, strategic planning and information technology solutions in the Americas, Europe and Russia.  He has over 24 years experience in planning and implementing mission critical enterprise and business transformation solutions, with budgets in excess of $7.5 million and direct reporting staff of over 65 consultants and contractors.  He is versed in international business and is fluent in Spanish.

The range of business transformation initiatives he has led include:

  • Strategic planning and information architecture designs
  • Evaluation and re-design of organizational and business processes
  • Design of evaluation methods and criteria for assessing and selecting software products, tools and services
  • Conduct full systems lifecycle software development efforts in several industries
  • Facilitate organizational change management activities and full stakeholder analysis, including development and execution of communications strategy

Mr. González provided consulting leadership for projects in the Office of Secretary of Defense focused on identification of significant process improvement opportunities in assurance and controls.  He also led a pilot project team which assisted Office of the Under Secretary of Defense, Acquisition, Technology and Logistics in evaluating three major military equipment programs.  Mr. González implemented a fully integrated, web-enabled enterprise system solution for contracting and procurement for D.C. Government.  He has also supported process improvement and technology implementation projects in health care in the U.S. and abroad.

Mr. González has an MBA in International Business Management and a BS in Information Systems Management, from the University of Maryland.
