EurekaFacts Recertified as a Minority Business Enterprise
EurekaFacts is recertified as a Minority Business Enterprise (MBE) with the National Minority Supplier Diversity Council (NMSDC) through July 2019. CEO and founder of EurekaFacts Jorge Restrepo shares, “Maintaining our certification with the NMSDC is an important way to let large corporations know that our firm not only provides unequaled market and social research, but that by engaging us, we contribute to their diversity goals.”
The NMSDC and its Capital Region Council (CRMSDC) serve as a direct link between corporate America and minority owned businesses. There are 1,750 corporate members throughout the network, including most of America’s largest publicly owned, privately owned and foreign owned companies, as well as universities, hospitals and other buying institutions.
NMSDC’s rigorous certification process requires that minority businesses in their network are at least 51% minority-owned, operated and controlled. Eligibility is established through a series of screenings, interviews, and site visits. Stringent standardization also identifies bona fide minority businesses, helping purchasing agents report expenditures as well as vendor utilization rates.
