Stanford Latino Entrepreneurship Initiative (SLEI) Selects EurekaFacts to Build Research Panel of Latino Business Owners
ROCKVILLE, MD – EurekaFacts, an independent market research and analysis firm has been selected by the Stanford Latino Entrepreneurship Initiative (SLEI) to build a research panel of Latino business owners. Researchers will use the panel to gain insights into Latino-owned businesses in America.
The SLEI is a research collaboration between the Stanford Graduate School of Business and the Latino Business Action Network (LBAN), a not for profit organization established in 2013 to grow the American economy and empower Latino entrepreneurs through research, education, and networks.
The SLEI examines the characteristics of successful Latino entrepreneurs, the state of the Latino business ecosystem, and issues central to Latino-owned businesses. Their findings are presented in the annual State of Latino Entrepreneurship report.
EurekaFacts CEO Jorge Restrepo says, “A business panel of Latino entrepreneurs will be a valuable resource for SLEI. As panel members, Latino entrepreneurs can share their knowledge and experiences to help SLEI and LBAN further their mission of doubling the number of scaled-up Latino businesses in America.”
Restrepo has strong ties to SLEI. In 2017, he was in the fourth cohort of business owners to participate in Stanford University’s Scaling Excellence executive program. He has also been invited to serve on the LBAN’s advisory board.
Once operational, the research panel will provide the SLEI a dedicated source of information to further their research on Latino business owners and their businesses.
