Business Process Documentation and Analysis. Maryland Transit Administration required business process documentation for a state transit agency. Assembling a team of experts in time and billing, payroll processes and business process analysis, EurekaFacts is conducting business process documentation and analysis.
Ridership Survey- EurekaFacts completed a complex ridership survey achieving high response rates and achieving significant cost efficiencies for a transportation authority.
Customer needs, satisfaction and strategic planning – The Maryland Transit Administration Office established the Local Transit Support unit in order to improve its effectiveness working with the local transit agencies that operate services throughout the state. EurekaFacts conducted research among the various local agencies to gain a better understanding of the needs, customer satisfaction levels among the local operators; Additional research was conducted within the agency to offer internal and external views to the management team. It then assisted the agency conduct a Strengths, Weaknesses, Threats and Opportunities (SWOT) analysis using balanced score card/ strategy maps methods to help the new director shape its strategic plan.
Administrative Support to Rail and Bus service– Various team members provide direct support to the Maryland MARC commuter train service, the office of procurement and the finance division.
Focus groups with riders – point to point transit for people with disabilities– Working with a prime contractor, our team has provided recruitment and focus group support to the Washington Metro – Metro Access service which provides point to point service to people with disabilities.
Highway Safety – Cognitive testing of Distracted Driver Survey– As a subcontractor to Abt SRBI, EurekaFacts is conducting cognitive interviews to support the development of a Spanish language version of the national distracted driver survey. Examinations of how this large study of distracted driver habits and perceptions can be refined among Spanish speakers will help make its questions easier to read, understand, and respond to by people of various national origins, backgrounds and educational levels.
Security Message Testing - As a subcontractor in a homeland security project, EurekaFacts is coordinating focus groups to test safety/security messages for a campaign spanning a wide range of transportation modes.
