Mixed Mode Data Collection
If you want to increase response rates while easing costs for data collection, a mixed mode mailing and online survey is a great methodology. In fact, many of our clients prefer a mixed mode mailing and online survey for their data collection. A mixed mode data collection is very effective because it is capable of reaching the broadest spectrum of those in the targeted segments. One of the strengths of mixed mode data collection is that it encourages participation by allowing respondents to complete the survey in their preferred format. For example, computer savvy individuals may prefer to respond online while those with minimal computer experience or access may want to simply complete the paper questionnaire and mail it in.
